Potzus Ltd. is one of Saskatchewan's largest construction companies. Established in 1966, we are a second generation family owned and operated business. We provide top quality work to the Government of Saskatchewan, various municipalities, First Nations and the private sector. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
Responsibilities
- Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
- 3 years experience operating dozer, finishing slopes, and cutting to grade on road construction as needed
- Demonstrate skill in the identification of key hazards and use of strategies to work safely, such as; stability of soils, edges, excavations, stability of machine, and awareness of position, clearance, safe movement, other machinery / vehicles / workers
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
- Complete all work reports and maintenance logs
- Overtime available
- Accommodation provided if working away from home
- Meal allowance if working away from home
- Health and Dental after 3 months
