The Opportunity :

Our client, a leading conversion optimization platform, is looking for a Billings Manager (Finance Operations) to join their dynamic team on a contract basis.

This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge marketing tools in a collaborative and innovative environment.

As the Billings Manager (Finance Operations), you will oversee customer payments, invoicing, and billing while collaborating with various internal teams to enhance and streamline processes.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, identifying opportunities for improvements and automation, and contributing to significant projects within the organization.

What Will You Be Doing :

  • Deal Desk Support and client negotiations on billing terms
  • Invoice Management and AR
  • Billing tickets and billing help, investigating and resolving billing-related issues
  • Act as finance team rep in projects
  • Manage purchase requisitions and purchase order management
  • Sales tax management
  • Process improvement and automation

Success Criteria & Deliverables :

  • Strong relationships with internal stakeholders and team members established within the first 3 months
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems and processes within the organization
  • Identification and prioritization of opportunities for process improvement and control implementation

What We Need From You :

  • 2-5 years of experience in AR / AP / payroll, with a focus on accounts receivable and invoice management
  • Experience with sales tax management, purchase order management, and billing-related processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with systems such as MS Dynamics NAV / GP, NetSuite, and Recurly
  • Experience with process improvement and automation
  • Knowledge of private equity backed organizations and operating in both Canada and the United States is preferred
  • Experience in a growth-stage or scale-up company is an asset
