Assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. Conducts more complex production tasks such as operating multiple machines. Performs minor machine maintenance. Assists in setting up machines. Works at different workstations as production needs require. May train less experienced coworkers. Typically has more than 5 years of experience and works under general direction. We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable Journeyman Welder at our Edmonton Service Centre. This opportunity is perfect for someone with experience looking for a stable position in an organization that offers advancement.

Job Summary :

Principal duties in this position are the maintenance and repair / rebuild of the following :

• Car repairs involving cutting and welding on the metal jacket and other car components
• Truck assembly gauging and replacement of parts and wear components
• Reading comprehending and following repair orders and procedures
• Adhering to health and safety standards including Responsible Care policy
• Additional related duties as assigned

The starting hourly rate for this role at the Edmonton Service Centre is $43.94 and progresses to $47.29 per hour.
