Are you passionate about driving IT security solutions?

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Consultant for our Toronto branch. As a Security Consultant you will deliver security solutions including implementations to our clients across a broad range of industries and technologies.

A Day in the Life :

• Event Detection :
• o Act as the main technical point of escalation between Security Operations and the site resources, team leads and practice leads
• o Follow established, documented processes to provide Tier 1 level support for event detection including receipt of security alerts for monitored devices, acknowledgement of the receipt of the event, opening and / or updating service desk tickets to track the handling of events to resolution and closure, assignment of the ticket to the appropriate owner
• Event Response :
• o Follow an established process for the purpose of collecting relevant data to perform the necessary level of analysis
• o Follow an established process for transmitting event information to the appropriate point of contact (internal and / or external)
• o Report on reoccurring problems and issues
• o Follow established processes to ensure resolution criteria are met
• Demonstrate problem solving skills that contribute towards the resolution of issues as they arise
• Provide additional support related to network administration, server administration, data centre support, etc.
