As a Emergency Management Senior Software Developer you will play a meaningful role within our Environmental Group. The role will be based out of our Waterloo office.

Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in :

• Administer and update digital delivery services
• Develop and maintain in-house software tools and services for emergency preparedness analysis
• Gathering cataloging and updating spatial data for emergency preparedness analysis
• Conduct risk and consequence modelling using a variety of software programs
• Assist in gap assessment and program review of client emergency management programs
• Support the delivery of Emergency Preparedness (EP) services such as regulatory / response planning hazard and risk assessments training and exercises for environmental response (oil / chemical) Incident Command System (ICS) management.
• Support the preparation of technical correspondence project proposals technical reports evaluations and lessons learned reports ICS documentation (All ICS forms EPA USCG) and work plans
• Support business development with existing as well as new clients including assisting with proposal pursuits
• Lead or support project management activities including cost and budget tracking scheduling client communication and liaising and preparation and implementation of scopes of work
• Support training and mentoring of junior staff
