Position : Salesforce Developer DevOps - Remote Canada Role

Day to Day / Job Function

• Gather requirements, define, design and implement DevOps architecture.
• Deploy releases to various environments and perform Hotfixes and Rollbacks as needed.
• Write build scripts & pipelines to implement end-to-end build and deployment orchestration.
• Verify successful continuous delivery deployments.
• Define and implement branching strategies to support parallel software development.
• Review continuous delivery validation builds for failures and resolve deployment issues with Development & Configuration teams.
• Advanced GIT skills to move development and configuration work between version control branches.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Salesforce consulting role that includes completing at least 4 projects in a development role.
• 5+ years of experience using DevOps best practices and modern CI / CD design principles within an Agile environment.
• 5+ years of experience developing custom business logic in APEX, writing test classes, creating LWC Visualforce Pages and Triggers.
• Deep understanding of scratch orgs & proficient working with implementing package-based deployments in Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with any of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Copado, Flosum or other CI / CD tools.
