Network Specialist

You will use your expertise to :

• Provide networking subject matter expertise in support of our Network Operations team.
• Proactively improve the Network from implementing small configuration changes, code / hardware upgrades and other proactive initiatives.
• Maintain and configure Load Balancers (F5), Routers and Switches (Cisco / Juniper), Cisco WiFi, Cloud Networking, Management Tools (Cisco ISE / Catalyst Center, F5 Big-IQ, NetBox) and Network documentation
• Coordinate troubleshooting and service recovery of escalated network and customer reported issues
• Collaborate with other internal teams, outsourced service providers and equipment vendors in the planning and maintenance of Suncor’s corporate network assets and technologies
• Help to develop and implement the plan for network technologies and services to meet or exceed Suncor technical and security standards and policies, Network PCI, and SOX compliance
• Ensure critical network infrastructure meets disaster recovery requirements and the Network team is ready and capable to participate in disaster recovery activities
• Participate in defining standards, policies and processes for network operations in alignment with our strategy
• Monitor the network (Grafana, Catalyst Center, Big-IQ, Viavi) and ITIL ticketing system (ServiceNOW)
