Job Description :

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented  Junior Project Manager  to assist in overseeing and managing lighting projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will support project execution by ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, estimating, accounting, and sales, to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and customers, ensuring effective internal and external communication.
  • Create, manage, and facilitate the  Request for Information (RFI)  process.
  • Prepare, manage, review, and assist with all  Submittals .
  • Develop, price, communicate, and integrate  Change Orders .
  • Prepare and manage  full tender packages  and  scope of work , including detailed tender analysis and validation of actions based on scope, quantities, etc.
  • Initiate and execute  linear coordination  as required.
  • Coordinate with internal team members as necessary.
  • Organize  deliveries and shipments  with the logistics team.
  • Attend and actively participate in  departmental meetings .
  • Compile and manage  deficiency lists and after-sales follow-ups .
  • Ensure suppliers meet scheduled target dates and provide feedback on scheduling concerns.
  • Maintain and file documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare  draft invoices .

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in project management, construction management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in project coordination or management in the lighting, construction, or related industry is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Knowledge of project management software is an asset.
