Sr Front End Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Sr Front End Developer to join an enterprise retail company hybrid out of Vancouver or Seattle. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience implementing complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services. The successful candidate should have strong critical thinking skills, effective time management abilities, and capacity to work in a distributed team environment.

Other duties and responsibilities include :

• Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to the development environment, and technical documentation
• Work independently to support software throughout the entire SDLC
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues
• Participate in the estimation process, use case specifications, and review test plans, test cases, requirements, and project planning
• Introduce tools and automate repetitive tasks
• Guide and mentor junior developers in coding and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews
