What youre responsible for :

• Inspect and sort metal materials such as aluminium copper steel and alloys according to established guidelines and specifications
• Identify and remove contaminants nonrecyclable items and hazardous materials from the metal stream ensuring the purity and quality of the recyclable metals
• Separate different types of metals into designated bins or areas following proper sorting procedures and ensuring compliance with recycling standards
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Maintain a clean and organized work area including sorting stations bins and surrounding areas to facilitate efficient sorting operations
• Coordinate and communicate with team members supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues or concerns
• Identify opportunities for process improvement efficiency gains and waste reduction and provide suggestions to enhance sorting operations
• Adhere to environmental regulations and company policies related to the handling sorting and disposal of metal materials
