Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as our Training & Development Lead, we’d ask you to do the following for us :
- Perform learning needs analysis leveraging internal and external data, stakeholder consultation, learner consultation, and organizations overall goals
- Manage assigned learning projects and individual time effectively.
- Develop quality training materials and programs.
- Use blended learning and various learning technologies to offer solutions that meet the needs of the business and the learner.
- Facilitate training using the appropriate modality for all levels of associates and various group sizes
- Coordination of onsite learning delivery including partnering with location for all needs
- Design and manage training materials and their accessibility
- Provide “train the trainer” support.
- Gather and manage learning solution feedback to support the ongoing improvement of learning
- Make recommendations to improve training solutions, team processes and learning strategy
- Effectively builds relationships and collaborates with peers, leaders, business partners and stakeholder
- Leverages multiple forms of communication to engage stakeholders and share training plans, progress, and results

5+ years' experience with developing and facilitating training sessions in a corporate environmentDegree or 3 year college diploma; Certificate in Adult Education would be an assetProven ability to employ adult learning principles throughout the instructional design and facilitation processesExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointGreat consultative skills with strong ability to influence all levels of professionalsWilling to travel up to 40% (within Canada)Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
