Job Summary :
Join Birchwood Innovations as an Application Developer, where you will play a key role in a collaborative team of 5-6 developers. You will lead the creation, optimization, and maintenance of immersive, dynamic web applications and premium online shopping tools. This is an intermediate-level position focused on delivering high-end visitor experience across our dealership platforms.
What you will do :
- Feature Development : Lead the build of customer-centric tools and features for our dealership internal operations and public websites.
- Collaborative Innovation : Work closely with the marketing team, leadership, and third-party vendors to ensure tools meet our premium brand and usability standards.
- Site Reliability : Develop, monitor, and maintain customer-facing websites, including managing plugin releases, patches, and new deployments.
- Security & Accessibility : Ensure all front-end work exceeds the latest accessibility standards and respond rapidly to secure affected platforms.
- Platform Expansion : Support secondary web platforms, including mobile applications and new marketing initiatives.
- Tech Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and digital platforms for future adoption.
Qualifications :
Experience : 4–6 years of full-stack development experience.Technical Stack : Proficiency with PHP, MySQL, HTML, AWS, Docker, and Git.Education : Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of professional experience.Design-to-Code : Proven ability to transform wireframes and Figma or Adobe XD mockups into dynamic, living websites.Best Practices : Experience with version control (Git), A / B testing, unit testing, and cross-browser / cross-platform development.Adaptability : Ability to balance long-term strategic projects with rapid-response short-term fixes.Communication : Strong verbal and written skills for effective collaboration with staff, clients, and external contractors.Valid driver's license and own transportation to work are requiredWhat Birchwood Can Offer You :
