Key Responsibilities :
Tree Health Assessment : Conduct thorough tree assessments to determine the overall health and safety of trees, identifying signs of disease, pests, or damage.
Pruning & Maintenance : Perform tree pruning, thinning, and removal tasks using industry-standard techniques to ensure tree health, safety, and aesthetics, manage tree planting projects and care programs to improve the local green space.
Collaborate & Educate : Work closely with fellow team members to ensure efficient and effective tree care practices, share your knowledge with the public, educating them on tree health, proper care techniques, and the importance of trees in our ecosystem.
Equipment Maintenance : Maintain and care for the tools and equipment used in tree maintenance, ensuring everything is in top working condition for safe and efficient operations.
Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest arboriculture practices, attending training sessions and developing your skills in the field.
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years in arboriculture or a related field.
Knowledge : Strong understanding of tree species, health indicators, and best practices in tree care. Knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards.
Outdoor Work : Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and physical environments.
Communication Skills : Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Certifications (Preferred) : While certification in arboriculture is a plus, it is not mandatory. However, we encourage candidates to pursue relevant certifications.
Positive Attitude : A strong willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a dynamic, hands-on work environment.
