Position Overview :
Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected organization in search of a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR). This role is ideal for an energetic, phone-savvy professional eager to engage with potential clients, uncover their needs, and set the stage for the sales team to close new business. The BDR will play a pivotal role in generating leads, nurturing interest, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the sales team, gaining valuable experience in software solutions within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Make high-volume outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in the company’s software solutions, engaging confidently to understand their needs.
Collaborate with junior sales representatives to review prospects, discuss requirements, and provide guidance on next steps.
Support campaigns, trade show invitations, and other marketing initiatives to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Accurately record prospect information and interactions in the CRM system to ensure smooth handoffs and pipeline visibility.
Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to deal closure.
Maintain discipline in outreach and follow-up, contributing to consistent pipeline growth and team success.
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Business Development or outbound sales role, with a proven ability to confidently engage prospects by phone.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple leads, and collaborating with team members to drive results.
CRM proficiency and ability to quickly learn software solutions.
Interest or experience in software sales is an asset, though not required; confidence and persistence are key.

Competitive base salary of $55,000–$65,000, with additional performance-based incentives averaging $10,000 annually.
