Harvard Developments is seeking a qualified Building Operator to join its facility maintenance team in Edmonton . This position is accountable to provide an exceptional customer experience within a portfolio of assigned buildings in Edmonton and surrounding areas, ensuring the properties are well cared for and maintained in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.

The Building Operator will :

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to customers within the assigned portfolio
• Respond to customer service requests within standards established for safety, comfort, cleanliness, responsiveness, follow up and communication;
• Operate the building’s automation, fire life and safety, mechanical and electrical systems;
• Maintain positive contractor relationships while overseeing contracted services such as cleaning, security, HVAC, grounds, snow removal, etc.
• Carry out the planned maintenance program for the properties;
• Assist the management team achieve its customer, financial and organizational objectives; and
• Travel to various remote facilities totaling approximately one week per month to complete building visits, inspections and coordinate maintenance activities.
