Job Description
Assistant Director of Food & Beverage
- Directs and overseas all aspects of the organization’s food and beverage planning & service, with duties to include menu planning and costs, preparation & presentation of food and drinks.
- Maintaining product and service quality levels while maximizing profits; forecasting and budgeting, and selecting, evaluating, training, and developing employees.
- Plans Resort operations, ensuring that guests receive warm, friendly and efficient service at all times.
- Establishes personal guest contact and promotes feedback. Proactively anticipates guests’ needs and requirements.
- Assure the ordering and purchasing for Food & Beverage and vending. Assure F&B inventories, accurate stock summaries.
- Monitor service and food and beverage standards in all outlets and kitchens ensuring that managers take corrective actions as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in luxury hotel / resort.
- Strong leadership. Hands on approach, motivate, developing a team and successful planning.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer contact skills.
- Results and service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations. A team player & builder and a motivator & self-starter.
- Demonstrate experience in creating innovative guest experiences.
- Background / knowledge on Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) is a plus.
