Our client, a well-established law firm in Hamilton, is seeking a detail-oriented Client Services Accounting Coordinator to join their team. This is a newly created role that offers a unique opportunity to manage the financial operations for their clients with complex property portfolios.
This position will allow you to be a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely management of their property-related financial obligations while working closely with the firm’s Accounts Manager (CPA). The firm is expanding its client base and portfolio, providing a dynamic environment for an individual ready to take on increased responsibility in the future.

Responsibilities :
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding the financial management of their properties
Ensure the timely payment of property-related expenses, including mortgages, property taxes, utilities, and vendor invoices
Maintain accurate financial records for each client’s portfolio
Work within QuickBooks and Xero for financial reporting and transactions
Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Work closely with the Accounts Manager on financial matters, helping to streamline processes and improve accuracy
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Qualifications :
Minimum 2+ years of experience in an accounting role (e.g., Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant)
Strong understanding of financial transactions and reporting
Experience with QuickBooks and Xero preferred
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills are REQUIRED
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in accounting or a related field preferred
