What you’ll do :
You will demonstrate practical understanding of fundamental engineering or project management principles by using established technical standards, interpretation of regulatory or codified requirements, and interpretation of industry best practices or standards.
- Collaborate with all the stakeholders, team members, senior management, project owner, project sponsor, etc. to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
- Work with Procurement and the Construction Coordinator throughout different phases of the project to ensure project is completed in accordance with project strategy and schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining cost reports and cash flow for the project along with the overall schedule of the project.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts during all phases of the project while aligning with project goals and objective as well as risk management for projects.
- Make decisions throughout the different phases of the project, utilizing professional and technical expertise, to ensure project is delivered safely, efficiently and meets stakeholder expectations.
Who you are :
You are looking for a career in Project Management and :
- Have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Industrial Systems (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Membership or eligibility for membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) as a Professional Engineer (.
- You are skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, customer service, and communication.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
