Production Supervisor

Job Must Haves

• 3+ years of production supervisor experience
• Experience working with chemicals
• Strong communication and written skills
• Comfortable working with computers

Job Duties

• Work closely with Sales and Scheduling to ensure that the plant is satisfying sales orders while maximizing operational efficiency
• Responsible for the health and safety of assigned employees and for the management of WSIB claims
• Responsible for training, coaching, and managing employees on the floor
• Responsible for the quality of the product
• Responsible for cost containment in accordance with budget constraints
• Develop SOPs to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant and warehouse
• Makes recommendations on capital expenditures to advance the objectives of improving plant efficiency, reducing cost and improving H&S
• Responsible for creating labels, work tickets and specs for production using their internal computer system
• Attending daily meetings with higher management

Shift

• Afternoon shift 3 : 30pm - 11 : 45pm
• Must train on day shift for 1-2 months before moving to afternoon shift (7am-3 : 30pm)
