Job Title : Tech Project Manager - Risk Technology
Location : Mississauga, ON Canada (Onsite / Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities :
Market Risk Expertise :
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Market Risk area and Market Risk Products data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Market Risk and Risk Technology.
Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate with global teams, including front office and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to identify and clarify business needs.
Project Management :
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Technical Proficiency :
- Utilize strong programming skills in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Oracle to contribute to technical solutions and guide development teams.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting needs.
User Support and Communication :
- Act as a primary point of contact for end-users, addressing queries and providing prompt, accurate information.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and progress reports.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and any potential risks or issues.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the Risk Technology or Financial Services sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with successful outcomes.
Technical Skills :
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, and Oracle.
- Experience in query writing and developing stored procedures.
Communication Skills :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus
