Position : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location : Flagstaff, AZ
Pay Rate : $28 - 30 / hr
Work Schedule :
1st Shift (6 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM)
3rd Shift (6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM)
Position Description :
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for delivering assigned para-professional nursing care and treatment services in a timely and efficient manner.
You will ensure that the environment remains safe, therapeutic, and hygienic for residents. The role involves learning and implementing Arizona Management System (AMS) methods, using AMS tools to address problems, improve processes, and enhance work efficiencies.
The focus is on providing Veteran / Member-centered care as a key aspect of your job duties.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in providing hands-on care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Implement para-professional nursing practices to deliver treatments and nursing care as per guidelines.
Use and maintain medical equipment to support care processes.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents.
Record, maintain, and retrieve resident medical records accurately.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members, both verbally and in writing.
Skills Required :
Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
Application of para-professional nursing methods and techniques.
Understanding and interpretation of state and agency laws governing nursing practices.
Proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
Ability to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Essemtial Requirements :
Prior experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
Active CNA certification in the State of Arizona.
Ability to obtain and retain a fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Active Driver's License
