Your new role

You are a team player thatbines a strong design orientation with an open and collaborative teamwork focused environment. You will be part of a creative team environment and be involved with an exciting range of projects.

The successful applicant will be able to grow and develop into thepany. You will be responsible for coordinating projects and running project teams.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5-10 years’ relevant experience in the Canadian Architectural Industry (BC experience preferred) and minimum 5 years’ project management experience including the coordination of a team during design and construction documents preparation.

You will have a certified Building Technology or Architectural program in a professionally recognized institution. The successful candidate will have Multi-disciplinary experience, specifically townhomes, mixed use residential and multi-family residential, both new designs and renovations.

A demonstrated expertise in building technology including wood frame, steel and concrete construction, design sensibilities while being pragmatic and efficient in the production of working drawings, a broad skillset and proven ability to run projects independently.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3 and ASHRAE 90.1 (understanding of NECB would be an asset), familiarity with municipal approval processes, experience providing construction services and conducting field reviews.

The successful candidate will have advanced skills in AutoCAD, and working knowledge of Revit and Sketchup. Ability to effectively coordinate with all stakeholders including : engineers, clients, designers and contractors and have excellentmunication skills in English, both written and oral.
