Role Summary :

The Junior Operator will assist in operating, monitoring, and maintaining critical infrastructure systems to ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency within BMO Financial Group's critical environments. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with limited experience, offering comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support Operations : Assist in monitoring and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and integrated facility systems, including UPS, emergency generators, HVAC, fire detection / suppression, and building automation systems.
• Emergency Response : Provide support during operational issues or emergencies under supervision, following established protocols.
• Preventive Maintenance : Participate in scheduled inspections and basic preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability.
• Issue Identification : Report observed issues promptly to senior team members and assist in documenting findings.
• Stakeholder Interaction : Respond to basic building occupant requests and escalate concerns as needed.
• Learning & Development : Engage in training programs to develop technical knowledge and safety awareness in critical environments.

Qualifications :

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Salary :

$50,100.00 - $93,000.00

Pay Type : Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
