One of our major banking clients is looking for a Business Analytics Manager (Banking exp., SAS, Data Insights & Reporting, PowerBI) Length : 6 months contract with a possibility of extension LOB : Business Analytics & Insights Work Location : Toronto, ON - Hybrid (At least 2 days / wk.

in office) Hours of Operation : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm ROLE MANDATE : Responsible for acting as SME and interface between the tools and resources to provide business intelligence and insight.

This individual will be supporting the Personal Lending product group. Analytics involves data mining and data manipulations.

This individual will be preparing dashboards and reports for decision making and majority of the job is manipulating and organizing data and preparing reports.

Group Culture : This individual will be working both individually and in a collaborative environment. Working sessions are available with lots of support.

MS Teams is available throughout the day for team members to communicate. Teams are very supportive of one another. The individual will receive vast exposure to multiple areas within the bank.

Team members are encouraged to share strategies across the bank, finding improvements, open to ideas and suggestions, even in strategic decision-making.

Input from the team is always welcomed, and updates are always provided. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to) : -Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on business performance activities.

• Collaboration with internal teams to develop advanced analysis to drive deeper insight and identify revenue opportunities based on information gathering of current trends, competition, and strategy -Provide financial and operational support to monitor the business -Understands and articulates the business case of business questions and the estimated value being delivered -Designs dashboards and analyses to be performed, and appropriate visualization and analytics tools to use -Identifies trends and patterns to address identified business questions and provide insights through reporting and data visualization techniques -Works with other data and analytics professionals to optimize, refine, automate and scale analysis into repeatable analytics solutions and decision support tools -Builds various reporting dashboards using the most appropriate data extraction, data cleaning and data visualization techniques -Act as SME and provide specialized consulting, analytical and technical support -Provides value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques.
• Selects, configures, and implements analytics solutions for consistency and repeatability -Works with different teams, management, and stakeholders to enhance the usability and aesthetic appeal of data analytics solutions deployed in the organization -Translates business needs to technical specifications and evaluates existing data visualization systems to improve them -Develops data visualizations of "large" amounts of data that facilitate the intuitive presentation of data to decision makers -Develops tools and delivers training programs for use of reporting tools and self-serve analytics by non-analytical end users;

may include delivery of training to audiences -Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources -Documents data flow, systems, and processes to improve the design, implementation, and management of business / group processes -Work independently and regularly handles non-routine situations -Work with cross-functional teams to deliver insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes -Researches and applies continuous improvement in data visualization by identifying trends and patterns to transform raw data into actionable business insights -Stay up to date with industry trends and new analytical techniques -Ability to drive success through ambiguity, resulting from high variable levels of data complexity.
