Job Description
ATCO Frontec is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Edmonton, AB, working on a project with several properties across the Edmonton area. The Apprentice Plumber is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, inspections, modifications, and installation / dismantling of plumbing systems. The successful candidate must be willing to work after hours and on weekends as required. Tools, uniforms, PPE, work cellphone, and a company vehicle will be provided for work duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely inspections, testing, and accurate reporting of equipment defects and deficiencies
- Replace toilets, bathroom and kitchen sinks, and bathtubs
- Utilize power auger for toilet, bathtub, and main lines
- Replace hot water tanks and furnaces (40,000 & 60,000 BTU)
- Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded
- Guarantee all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes, as well as environmental protection requirements
Qualifications
Registered Plumber Apprenticeship is preferredClass 5 license and clean drivers abstract is requiredMust be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol Test, Fit-to-Work Test, and Extensive Background Check.Must be able to obtain Government Security Clearance.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAble to read drawings and blueprintsAbility to build and work in a team environment is crucial along with a strong commitment to personal and team safetyWho We Are
