Title : Accounting Administrator

Location : 220 John Street, Barrie

Shift time : 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm

Position Status : Contract 1- Year, Hybrid

Job Summary

The Accounting Administrator will support the finance department by performing a variety of administrative and accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support for the yearly audit.

Key Responsibilities :

• Post AR and / or AP invoices into Business Central ensuring all information is correct (GL / commodity coding, weights, pricing, dates, etc.)
• Perform Customer / Vendor / Bank account(s) reconciliations using external documents and investigate / correct discrepancies as required to maintain clean accounts
• Complete intercompany transactions as required ensuring all sides balance as per company policy
• Prepare and post bank payments and receipts following internal procedures
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Provide support during audits and tax filings.
