Role Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic Operations Engineer to lead engineering workflows, support day-to-day operational execution, and ensure smooth integration of engineering and site activities. This is a hybrid role combining process engineering, commissioning, and operational responsibilities with leadership exposure.

You will be based in Calgary during the engineering phase of the project and then transition to a rotational schedule (14 / 14) at the site in Saskatchewan to support construction, commissioning, and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a solution-focused mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Support

• Provide operational engineering support to project design and execution teams
• Develop and lead readiness plans to transition from project to operations
• Contribute technical input to construction and commissioning planning
• Participate in the development of lab and MOC (Management of Change) processes
• Liaise with licensors and project engineering teams to ensure operational alignment
