Jardeg is currently recruiting for Carpenter Apprentices to work with our Airport Trail Project team in Calgary!

The schedule for this position is 5 days on 2 days off; Monday to Friday. There may be a chance to work overtime (this may include extended hours / weekends and night shift) if site requires .

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will :

• Assist in building forms for concrete
• Cut, shape, and join specialty materials per specifications
• Look for and fix deficiencies
• Check accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required
• Study blueprints for work planning
• Construct and forms chutes for pouring concrete
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level

Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and / or takes appropriate measures

Perform labourer duties in addition to carpentry work
