This position is responsible for training, coaching and developing cashiers to ensure customer receive outstanding and quick checkout service. B ensuring the efficient operation of the registers, influencing and supporting the cashier team, expediting price checks and identifying high shrink items.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

• Supervise, hire and train cashiers
• Schedule writing
• Perform various cash office duties
• Greet customers
• Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card and debit
• Wrap and place merchandise in bags
• Balance and reconcile cash an end of work shift
• Maintain cleanliness of check stands
• Complete price changes

What you have to offer:

• Some secondary school preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cash Office experience
• Supervisory experience preferred by not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Available to work flexible hours
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
