As a Registered Nurse serving remote First Nations communities in Manitoba, you will play a vital role in delivering holistic, culturally competent care within an expanded scope of practice. This position involves assessing patients of all ages with diverse health needs, using critical thinking and evidence‑based guidelines to develop and implement care plans. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to provide primary care services, including newborn deliveries, acute illness treatment, and chronic care follow‑ups. Beyond clinical duties, you’ll educate, counsel, and advocate for patients while ensuring their physical, psychological, and spiritual well‑being. In this dynamic environment, you’ll manage urgent situations, coordinate medical evacuations when necessary, and maintain accurate documentation—all while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities.
