Digital Print Press Operator
We have an opening for a Digital Press Operator at our client's Print & Mail Facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a positive team mentality.
The successful candidate will be well organized, focused on detail, and able to work within a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Position : Permanent
Role : Digital Press Operator
Location : Richmond, BC
Schedule : Monday to Friday; 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
Pay Rate : $20-24 / hr based on experience

Responsibilities
Experience operating high-speed digital press equipment (Konica Minolta preferred)
Familiar with digital print workflows, files, and format requirements
Computer experience comfortable working with multiple software and design programs
Proven troubleshooting experience with basic mechanical inclinations
Passion for print, with high accountability for consistently producing quality work
Assist in managing and maintaining all press room inventory, including paper and consumables
Maintain a clean and organized pressroom
Qualifications
Previous experience is graphic design, software, printing, etc. preferred
Experience with operating high speed digital press equipment
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and via email
Attention to detail in all areas of work, specifically jobs specs & colour accuracy
Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
Possess a positive attitude and able to work independently or as part of a team
Perform preventative maintenance & work with technicians to report & resolve issues
Ability to multitask and move efficiently between different responsibilities
