Responsibilities
- Manage between 10‑15 construction projects per month, working under regular supervision.
- Conduct site inspections, compile photographic reports, and prepare progress claim reviews.
- Prepare cost estimates of materials, labour, and equipment from bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications.
- Review budgets and development proposals, assessing lender requirements and engagement terms.
- Communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and produce economic feasibility studies on cost changes.
- Stay informed on market construction rates, procurement routes, and contracts.
- Network, promote business, cross‑sell and build client relationships.
Qualifications
2‑5 years of relevant experience in construction estimation.University degree (Architectural Building Technology, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Construction Engineering or Project Management) or equivalent.Sector experience in residential, commercial or industrial projects is an asset.Professional qualification (PQS and / or MRICS) is an asset.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and report‑writing skills.Self‑motivated, team‑player, and initiative‑driven.Attention to detail and effective time management.Eligible to work in Canada or holding a work permit.Valid driver’s licence.Compensation and Benefits
