AtkinsRéalis is seeking a fully qualified Structural Engineer for our Vancouver civil group.

Location Vancouver (BC)

Your role within the team?

• Perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis QA programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.
• Involved in detailed design of structural systems involving steel, reinforcing concrete, or masonry elements.
• Perform structural and seismic analysis including both static and dynamic analysis, and produce analysis report.
• Prepare technical documents, such as : engineering drawings, change paper markups, calculations, design / analysis reports, design requirements, design guides, bill of materials, technical specifications, etc.
• Provide technical guidance and instruction to Designers / Drafters.
• Perform field walkdowns during different design phases as required.
• Complete the assigned scopes or tasks within given budget and schedule, and in good quality.

The ideal candidate :

• Civil-structural engineer with minimum 3 years of experience focused on steel and reinforced concrete design.
• Eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia.
• General knowledge of National Building Code, and applicable CSA standards, other applicable industrial standards or regulations.
• Shall have fundamental technical knowledge to resolve engineering issues or technical problems.
• Shall have excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Compensation Range :

Expected compensation for this role is between $71,300 - $118,800 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, location, and potential impact on the role.
