Maintenance Manager - Private Seasonal Club/Camp - Ontario
We are searching for a Seasonal May to October) Maintenance Manager for this beautiful private club / camp property on Georgian Bay, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for an extremely hands-on maintenance / engineering individual to oversee the maintenance operations of a first-class property.
A minimum of 3 years commercial / resort / club / food and beverage building experience and should have good sound knowledge of electrical, plumbing, heating, water purification, refrigeration and general carpentry repairs.
Good general knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, water supply, and waste management systems. Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
You will be responsible to ensure that the physical plant is operating in a safe, efficient way and will oversee / assist all phases of preventive maintenance, repairs and outside renovation contractors.
Advise management on energy conservation programs at the club and continually monitor the utility costs and consumption.
You will be responsible in the preparation of the annual maintenance costs and assist with the budget as well as Performing other preventive maintenance functions to maintain standards and minimize the services of outside contractors inspect work done by outside trades and maintain overall effective costs.
Implement plans to keep the properties equipment in an excellent state of repair and make sure that there is adequate supplies on hand for any emergencies.
Should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and work with a seasonal tear that requires support and training.
Salary compensation for this seasonal summer (6 months term) and hopefully long-term position will be $50,000 plus an end-of-year bonus.
