Community Leader

We’re growing! And looking to welcome a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team for the position of Community Leader located in Sarnia, ON! This full-time position is ideal for someone who has an interest in bettering the community they live in! What you'll be doing : Advertise and show units to prospective tenants, answer all rental inquiries, process application forms, assist with checking credit references, email requested documents / applications to Head Office for approval, and close deals while tracking and recording all rental calls, emails, and walk-ins .

Remain available for tenants during assigned working hours and respond quickly during emergency situations, while also replying to all concerns and complaints from residents within 24 hours with the intent to resolve the tenant’s issue.

Collect rent on a monthly basis as required, and generate and deliver notices to tenants. Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork (applications, leases, etc.

and move-in & move out inspections. Assist with the review of rent roll and receivables. Communicate discrepancies to Property Management Administrator.

Organize and track all expense receipts, quotes and purchase orders as well as participate in all company or external audit procedures.

Maintain and update resident information in files as well as in our property management software as necessary. Contributing to operational excellence through tasks being completed within Skyline standards and in line with all applicable legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Code.

What we look for : Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively.

Exceptional administrative skills. Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented. Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.). Five (5) years of related work experience. Previous experience in sales and / or customer service is considered an asset.

Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and Landlord and Tenant Board guidelines and processes. What you want to work here : Provide great customer service is something you thrive on.
