Investment Advisor Assistant

Responsibilities :

  • Support the Investment Advisor in the day-to-day management of client portfolios, ensuring that they are in line with risk profiles and investment objectives.
  • Execute market transactions according to client and advisor instructions, using a range of financial products such as equities, bonds, ETFs, and mutual funds.
  • Manage communications with clients and external partners in a professional manner, including following up on telephone calls and e-mails.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial documents, client presentations and meetings.
  • Collaborate with administrative assistants in administrative tasks related to customer account management.
  • Track and complete account transfers, and prepare documents such as investment policy statements and portfolio analyses.

Requirements :

  • At least three years' professional experience in a similar position or relevant training in the financial field.
  • Excellent oral and written French.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial products and standards of conduct in Canadian securities trading.
  • Strong communication, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    • Additional assets :

  • Training in Canadian securities trading and / or Standards of Conduct Manual.
  • Financial planner designation (IQPF) holder or willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
