Job Description
As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for producing machined parts, machined weldments, and assemblies within specifications.
Your role involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, operating equipment in a safe and productive manner. You will need to be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Prioritizing your workload to meet production demands is crucial.
Must-Have Skills
- 3-5 years experience with manual milling machines
- Knowledge of different measuring instruments and measurement techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or schematics
- Machine parts according to drawing, check quality and quantity of parts
Work Environment
Heavily focused on safety with overhead cranes around the whole plant. The work area is clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled.
The team culture is very close-knit, focused on sharing knowledge and continuous learning, with a practice of passing on best practices from more experienced staff to newer members.
Shift
Monday 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM - OT after 40 hours.
Wages / Salary
$28-32 / hr depending on experience
