We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you willbe responsible forassistingin the assembly,testingand repairing of prototype and production geophysical instruments.
Responsibilities
Working out of our Saskatoon office :
- Assemble and test prototype electronic PCBs
- Assemble and test prototype instruments (including wiring, mechanical assembly etc.)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic systems and equipment
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
Requirements
Diploma or higher in electronics or a related field2 - 5 years experience as an Electronics TechnicianExperience with electronics assembly (hand soldering and reflow surface mount PCBA, as well as through-hole assembly)Strong knowledge of electronic principles and troubleshooting techniquesProficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawingsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with the design and development of electronic systems and equipmentWilling to travel to work sites in Canada or internationally to diagnose and repair equipment in the fieldCompetitive salary and benefits packageFriendly and supportive work environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
