Adecco is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist for a temporary position based in St.
Thomas, ON. The successful candidate will take the lead in the development and implementation of compensation, benefits, and pension programs across multiple locations, including Canada and Germany.

- Pay rate : $42-$47 / hour depending on experience.
- Location : St. Thomas, ON Hybrid - 2 days in office each week
- Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm

- Lead the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs in line with the company's goals. Ensure these programs are compliant with Canadian regulations and cost-effective.
- Recommend strategic direction for benefit plans, including health, welfare, retirement (DC plans, RSPs), and other employee benefits.
Administer Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans and Registered Savings Plans (RSPs), ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Lead the annual benefits design process and benchmark programs against market standards.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate fees, and oversee the administration and budgeting of welfare plans, retirement, and vehicle programs.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBP), payroll, and finance to meet data needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding benefits, ensuring clear and accessible communication. Oversee the annual enrollment process for employees and retirees.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), and provincial health regulations. Interpret statistical market data to support decision-making.
- closely with business leaders across Canada and Germany, providing input into retirement plan designs, ensuring competitiveness, and supporting the smooth ramp-up of new programs.
Manage projects with adherence to deadlines and stakeholder needs. Requirements :
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant compensation and benefits experience, with a focus on HR, compensation program management, or benefits planning.
- Strong experience in interpreting market data, statistical analysis, and strategic planning.
- High proficiency in Excel and MS Office programs.
- Experience with HR SAP or SuccessFactors is an asset.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written, verbal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects.
