Responsibilities
- bookkeeping
- maintain financial statements
- Filing taxes
- Accounts Payable
- maintain excel spreadsheets
- other duties as required
Qualifications
- bookkeeping experience required / full cycle accounting asset (4+ yrs experience)
- knowledge of accounting software
- knowledge / experience with Canadian taxes required; corporate taxes would be an asset but not mandatory
- ability to work very independently
- ability to work in office (Halifax)
- knowledge of financial statements

What does the interview process look like?
- Pre-screening about 10mins and giving a better understanding about client and role
- Meet with the incumbent already in the position and know the expectations (approx 45min); followed by final meet with owner of company
- Offer letter withing 48-72hrs
- Client expecting to meet 2-3 qualified candidates for the role
