Are you an experienced nanny looking for a rewarding opportunity in the North Okanagan, British Columbia area? Our family is currently seeking a reliable and caring individual to join us as a full-time or part-time, live-out nanny for 2 and 5 year old.
Our 5 year old is type 1 diabetic so previous experience is an asset. If you have a passion for childcare and are skilled in meal preparation / nutrition and feel comfortable caring for a high energy and higher needs child we would love to hear from you!As our nanny, you would be responsible for providing attentive care to our children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Meal preparation, counting carbs, administering insulin, and continuously monitoring our type 1’s blood sugar will be a crucial part of the role, so if you are a whiz in the kitchen, can create nutritious and delicious meals and feel comfortable caring for a child with special needs we want to hear from you.
Additionally, having CPR and some childcare / foodsafe certification is an asset to ensure the safety of our children.We are offering a competitive hourly rate we can discuss and a warm, welcoming environment.
