Job Title : CNC Programmer - (Siemens NX)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with Siemens NX expertise to support machining operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves analyzing technical drawings, developing CNC programs, supporting production teams, and improving machining processes to ensure efficient and high-quality part manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze part designs, technical drawings, and process plans to determine machining and tooling requirements.

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX for 2-axis to 5-axis machining.

Create cutting tool layouts and support tool proving and program validation.

Provide technical support to machine operators during setup and production.

Investigate manufacturing issues and implement program or tooling improvements.

Review and approve drawings from external suppliers.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Ensure programming documentation and technical instructions are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications & Requirements

College diploma or certificate in CNC Programming, Machining, or Mechanical Technology.

5–10 years of experience in CNC programming or aerospace machining.

Strong experience with Siemens NX (2-axis to 5-axis programming).

Experience with Vericut is an asset.

Provincial Certificate of Qualification (General Machinist) is an asset.

Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and review work of other programmers.

CAM drafting skills are required.

Hourly rate : $38.23 / hour
