Our client, a major player in the pharmaceutical field, is looking for an Account Manager to strengthen its sales team. You will play a key role in managing and developing customer relationships, ensuring the sale of equipment, reagents and services, while supporting quality control activities in microbiology.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to achieve and exceed sales targets (equipment, reagents, services).
- Manage and optimize sales opportunities to meet monthly and quarterly forecasts.
- Ensure optimal territory management by maintaining an active presence with targeted customers.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Document all activities in CRM (Salesforce) and keep data up to date.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Conduct sales demonstrations and presentations when necessary.
Requirements
- University degree in business or science.
- Sales experience required (minimum 3 years), ideally in the sale of capital goods.
- Sales, communication and negotiation skills in complex environments.
- Knowledge of microbiology, pharmaceutical quality control, or operations is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a strategic territory.
- Strong organizational, presentation and analytical skills.
