Position Summary

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accountant providesvarious typesof financial supportto York Realty and its partners.This individual works collaboratively with other team members and serves as a company representative when engaging with clients and other external stakeholders.Due to the nature of this role, the Junior Accountant mustpossessa high levelof adaptability as they provide services to different entities and departmentswithin ourGroup(e.g.,Construction, Property Management, Precast, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaina strong level of detail over day-to-day responsibilities
• Manage bank transactions and bank reconciliations for 40+ bank accounts, 30+ legal entities and various departments, such as construction and development
• Conductperiodic account reconciliations andsubmitreports to management
• Reconcile and process payments for company credit cards
• Record and reconcile property taxes, insurance, and utilities monthly for 100+ properties
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet reporting for management
• Updateandmaintainaccounting databases as needed
• Assistentities and departmentswith day-to-day accounting andad hoc reconciliations asrequired
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned
