Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator

A day in the life as a Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator :

• Implements social media plans, including monitoring activity and engagement on various digital platforms
• Support community investment efforts through the implementation of the Community Investment Strategy including content capture and coordination
• Increase Westoba’s brand reach through participation and promotions of special events and campaigns, including being on-location representative and coordinating content production
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute various campaigns, ensuring seamless implementation across channels. This includes coordinating content production, monitoring campaign performance, and contributing to the success of promotional initiatives and partnerships
• Coordinates content updates to the Westoba Credit Union and MAXA Financial websites while ensuring that marketing and communication efforts are accurate and timely
• Contributes to the expansion and promotion of digital banking services to members
• Ensures strong internal communications by contributing to staff intranet content

What you bring to the table :

• Formal post-secondary education specializing in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
• Minimum one year experience in a Marketing role is ideal for team success
• You love to write. You have excellent written and oral communication skills
• You show skills and interest in writing, researching, and creating for digital platforms (i.e., social media, websites, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills, spreadsheets are your friend!
• A forward-thinker with a can-do attitude who likes variety and thrives in fast-moving environment
• Event coordination skills are considered an asset
• Photography experience is considered an asset
• A valid driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle
