The Opportunity

McElhanney is seeking a highly skilled Party Chief with 3-5 years of field experience to join our Calgary Geomatics team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Project Managers to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and legal requirements. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career in Geomatics Engineering with a reputable and long-term growing company with satisfied clients. Candidates should have the ability to travel and work out of town in remote areas. What You’ll Do

• Field completion of various types of surveys focusing on legal surveys, municipal construction stake out, roads, structures etc., topographic surveys, high precision scanning surveys, drone flights, and Upstream Oil and Gas surveys.
• Manage information flow from field to office and prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations.
• Ensure implementation of quality assurance, safety, and policy compliance.

What Can We Offer You?

The salary range for this position is $62,000 - $91,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary / wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

This role is designated as asafety sensitiveposition.
