The Delivery Service Rep. will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Kamloops.
Hours Of Work :
Typically 40 hours / week, with the opportunity for overtime
Four (4) 10-hour days with 3 days off per week OR Three (3) 12-hour days with 4 days off per week
Shifts and Start Time :
Schedule : 4 X 10 Floater Days or Nights

What We Require :
Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Professional demeanour under stressful situations.
Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
Previous professional driving experience is preferred
Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be goal-oriented with a positive, can do attitude
This position requires punctuality and attention to detail
Responsibilities Include :
Responsibilities include correctly offloading products, recording of delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects.
Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships
Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx.
600 - 1000 cases / shift)
Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes
Conducting routine pre / post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting
Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices
Following health and safety and safe work procedures
