A Day in the Life of a Senior Financial Analyst :

Want a front row seat to a Global Consumer Product Good (CPG)’s financial inner workings? Consider this key role in a dynamic division, where you’ll play point on understanding, validating and analyzing the business unit’s brand portfolio margins.

You will lead business unit budget and forecast process for Brand portfolio, collaborating with cross functional marketing, sales and operations teams.

You will also participate in business unit FP&A reporting, supplying insightful analysis of business results.

Your working location will be in Longueuil, Quebec. You will be working under a hybrid work program where you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.

Under the supervision of a Senior Finance Manager, you will :

Collaborate with business partners in development of monthly rolling forecast by brand, ensuring all direct costs are budgeted appropriately and aligned with business unit goals.

  • Apply analytics to drive effective decision support to brand managers across the business, while highlighting areas of opportunities or risk and developing action plans.
  • Provide value added analytics on inventory to the various business partners to support business decision, maximize profitability and minimize risks.
  • Review Brand P&L month end results in partnership with Senior Leaders, while proactively highlighting and resolving variances.
  • Lead quarterly business review (QBR) process, preparing schedules and analysis for presentation to executive management.

What you’ll bring :

5 years of related financial business planning and analysis. Experience in a consumer retail environment preferred.

  • Bachelor of Business Administration, CPA preferred.
  • Written and spoken French and English is required. The internal clients you will service are outside of Quebec as you will be part of a North American team.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a drive to understand and improve processes.
  • Strong financial business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Team player with high energy and proven initiative.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate simply to non-finance business partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI and experience working with SAP BI.
