Qualifications
- A part time position is available to provide Social Work service to clients in the Mental Health Day Hospital Group Therapy Program at Woodstock Hospital.
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate group therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients dealing with moderate to severe mental health issues.
- Ability to engage in a variety of therapy delivery models including in person and virtual.
- Strong ability to clinically assess and develop treatment plans
- Group therapy facilitation & co-facilitation required.
- Able to maintain timely and accurate statistical records of direct and indirect care activities for departmental, hospital and ministry purposes.
- To provide backup Social Work services within the department when required.
- Assist with MSW / BSW student supervision as needed.
- Have a Master’s Degree in Social Work and are a member of the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Have a minimum of 3 years of Mental Health Social Work experience.
- Have training and experience in evidenced based therapies including but not limited to CBT& DBT.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary hospital and community team environment.
- Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
- Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
