The Accountant's duties will include data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation, and the position will report to the Accounting Manager. Your responsibilities

- Data entry

- Assisting with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

- Carrying out alternate duties and taking part in special projects as assigned

- Prepare journal entries monthly

- Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit

- Researching and correcting account discrepancies

- Ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

Job Requirements:
- Less than one year of experience

- High-level understanding of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

- Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

- Adeptness in cash reconciliations

- Expertise in numeric data entry

- Daily Reconciliation experience

- Employee Timesheets experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of Navision

- Computer Data Entry experience

- Perform Data Entry experience

- General familiarity with Cost Allocation

- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent data entry skills
